Learning foreign languages is known to reduce anxiety and increase tolerance and creativity.
It provides an opportunity to develop patience and perseverance. It also opens our minds and encourages a new vision, a new way of doing things and a new way of thinking regarding the world around us.
Immersing yourself in different cultures makes you comfortable with the world around you. It becomes easier to communicate.
The more languages we learn, the better we are at learning more of them. It is common knowledge that bilingual brains are less easily distracted. This helps you develop a certain ease when you are in an unfamiliar situation.
The CERAN method prioritises the spoken language in language learning.
Although spoken language is prioritised, the language trainer remains aware of the importance of the written message for some Learners which also has its place in the communicative approach for addressing the Participant's needs.
The spoken and written language are therefore always present. However, emphasis is more on one or the other form of the language depending on the needs expressed by the Learner and according to the proposed activities.

Why learn Spanish?
Spanish is the fourth most spoken language in the world, with at least 460 million native Spanish speakers. Spanish is the mother tongue of 7% of the world's population, no less. It is also the third most influential language in the world and the official language in more than 20 countries. Today, Spanish is the 2nd most studied language in the world and over the past 10 years, the number of people wishing to learn Spanish has doubled. In 15 years' time, no fewer than 500 million people will speak Spanish. Learning it will bring you many professional advantages, obviously, but many personal ones, too. In fact, having a good knowledge of Spanish means you can travel through much of the world without any communication problems. From a professional point of view, Latin American countries are a major financial marketplace. Many are experiencing an economic boom and offer significant trade opportunities. Having a good command of Spanish will therefore be highly appreciated and can open many doors for you depending on your professional field. It is one of the most widely used languages in the international business community and at international political summits. Furthermore, business negotiations and trade treaties are increasingly taking into account the economic importance of knowing Spanish. It is also an official language within the European Union, MERCOSUR, UNESCO, GATT, the ONUDI and the U.I.T.
