The CERAN Academy offers intensive language courses for JUNIORS in 4 different languages: French, English, German and Dutch: each student practises the target language throughout the day for better assimilation of knowledge, including during organised leisure activities.

The courses enable young learners to gain confidence, improve their communication skills, activate their knowledge, overcome difficulties encountered at school or simply start learning a new language.

INTENSIVE PROGRAMME

CERAN Academy students all have 28 group lessons of 45 minutes per week (21 hours of lessons), including oral expression, reading and comprehension lessons in the morning, while the afternoon is devoted to writing lessons and practical language projects.

Vocabulary and grammar are learnt by practising everyday situations such as introducing oneself, giving one’s opinion on current affairs or studying different themes that give rise to multimedia presentations and exhibitions of paintings, photographs or videos.

After an intense day of language immersion, enjoy sports and leisure activities.

INTENSIVE

+2, +4, +6 or +8 individual lessons

Choose between 2, 4, 6 or 8 individual lessons per week instead of sports and leisure activities. And all for one or two days.

LANGUAGE+

(Tennis, horse riding or golf)

A choice of tennis, golf or horse-riding (defined periods) in the target language after lessons.

It is possible to add extra individual lessons each day – 2, 4, 6 or 8 extra lessons per week – in order to work on a specific difficulty or gap, or to prepare for a school exam or international tests such as Cambridge, TOEFL, DALF, etc.

Each student will be offered 19 sessions of recreational activities per week. On Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, a full-day excursion or sports, cultural or multimedia activities will be scheduled in line with the week’s educational project.

The St Roch Ferrières campus has sports facilities, green spaces and rooms for artistic creation. The site also has a number of parks and gymnasiums, offering students a choice of activities: badminton, basketball, handball, beach volleyball, football, tchoukball, accrobranche, archery, tennis, theatre, drawing, painting, scrapbooking, escape games and talent shows!

Workshops on public speaking, young leaders and digital media will also be on the programme.

Of course, there will also be visits to the cities of Liège, Brussels, Bruges, Luxembourg, Cologne and Maastricht to discover interactive exhibitions, monuments, chocolate shops, shopping streets and other themed venues!

Language programmes + tennis, golf or horse riding

Students can also choose a specific activity programme with 4 weekly 2-hour sessions of tennis, horse riding or golf supervised by a coach and in the target language.

LEARN A LANGUAGE ALL YEAR ROUND

CERAN Academy also offers individual online courses throughout the year, from Monday to Friday. In blocks of 10 to 25 hours, any young person can benefit from CERAN’s methodology and content, which is adapted to their needs and availability.

For young people (aged between 9 and 25) who are experiencing difficulties at school, who want to prepare for a trip abroad, who want a complement/alternative to one of our residential courses, or simply for the pleasure of learning, we offer individual online courses.

Our native-speaking teachers will be happy to help you achieve your objectives quickly and efficiently, taking into account your learning style. These courses take place via Teams, Zoom or Google Meet.

Based on your availability, we can offer you a personalised timetable. Packages of 10, 15, 20 and 30 hours are available.
